Cone nozzles are ideal for spraying insecticides and fungicides as
they produce lots of small, 'Fine' drops
which are projected from the nozzle at many different angles.
This spraying method will mean that your pesticide can better penetrate dense leaf canopies of bushes and trees.
The smaller sizes of these drops and the angles of their projection ensure that the leaves at the front of a canopy, the concealed leaves within and the stems are all sprayed.
However cone nozzles produce small droplets, which are prone to drift and extra care is needed to manage that risk.
